A dictation is an exercise that helps you test an improve your spelling skills. You will hear the full text read once and a slower version of the text, with punctuation marks read aloud.
Watch out for these punctuation marks:

- Virgule: ,
- Point d’interrogation: ?
- Point d’exclamation: !
- Points de suspension : …
- Deux-points: :
- Point-virgule: ;
- Parenthèse ouvrante: (
- Parenthèse fermante: )
- Guillemet ouvrant: «
- Guillemet fermant: »
- À la ligne: skip the line

Le week-end
J’aime le week-end, même à la maison. Quand il ne fait pas beau, ma famille et moi, nous restons chez nous. Il y a beaucoup d’activités à faire à la maison. Par exemple, nous jouons à des jeux de société, aux cartes ou nous regardons des films à la télévision.
Pendant la semaine, je fais du sport. Je fais de la natation, du judo, du vélo, mais je n’en fais pas le week-end. Le samedi et le dimanche, je préfère me reposer.
Je me lève à sept heures et je fais les activités que j’aime faire : de la peinture, de la guitare, jouer à l’ordinateur ou avec mes chats.
J’aide aussi à préparer le repas et nous faisons le ménage en famille. Je n’aime pas vraiment faire le ménage, mais ça fait partie de mon week-end !
